it made me smile when i think of how long it had been since my last entry. ahahaha. almost two months. it's funny how i can be so into it at one time and just couldn't bother the next. well.. when i think about it, it's more like i dun really have anything to share. my previous entries had mostly been about my work and adjusting to my new job. i was able to mumble about that becoz during that time, i was quite free at the office. i was still new. but now.. being officially 4 months last week, things had really changed with my work. like an answered prayer, i really do have piles of work now. i've been getting assignments after another back to back. forget blogs, i dun even got the time to read online news in the office anymore. but i like the feeling. i like to have all the worries and stresses of work. it made me care less about the tiny details of my life and somehow make the month end comes a lot faster. which is very important :D
in two months.. a lot had actually happened. i mean it. and i dunno how i could still come to the conclusion that my life is boring. i'll try to cronologize the events since my last entry. hm if i could remember that is.. hehe. let's see.. well my Medan trip had been lovely. it was great to get to escape to a foreign place once in a while. and i've had the greatest time with Nia. we went to lake toba which was breathtaking and we also went to all shopping centres ever exist in Medan. except one according to Nia coz some of them are not so much different than the other. 5 days flew so quickly n i got the best hospitality ever from her family. which i was really greatful for. thanks so much!
back from the trip, i was busy with my annual dinner performance. i've never really mentioned in here, but i participated in the public bank annual dinner staff performance competition on behalf of IT department. not just me. me and another 39 casts. we were all performing in The Lion King musical broadway. yah, believe it or not. huhuu.. we got 1st runner up, theme award winner and two small prizes that added up to 10.8k! a lot huh, for an 8 minute performance. no wonder people kill to become a performer nowadays. think of the money siti nurhaliza would made for singing just one song! hahaha. but it had been fun. it was not all about the money. the friendship we made along the way, the joy, the hardship.. it was all worth it. i was very hesitant and quite disturbed when i was asked to join in at first but after a few practice sessions, i was beginning to love it. and seeing everybody so all out on the day of the performance, made me wanna give my all. and alhamdulillah, though we didn't get the first price, being in 2nd place felt like champion. we were screaming like crazy animals in our costumes when our name was announced. it had been great. and it is also over now. i hate that it had. we did our last performance on the 16th of August last month. and btw.. i was the female lion. not exactly the lion king's wife coz there were two of us, me n huda. so i guess it is fair to say that we were his mistresses. muahahaha.
then.. my viva met with an accident. i wasn't the one driving, though. the accident happened in melaka while i was busy with my performance in sunway. i exchanged cars with my mom a few weeks before that for a month. i only got to know when some mechanic called my number when they saw that my car was involved in an accident. there was quite a havoc for a few days and i was very depressed that it happened to my beloved car. it may not be the fanciest, all expensive car, but it is something i got to buy with my own money, my own effort. in a way.. i am proud of it. looking at it sitting still and all crushed in the workshop somehow crushed me inside. and because it was my car's driver who hit the car in front, it stripped all my insurance policy to cover for both mine and the other party's damages. which means.. i will have to pay a full amount all over again this year end. demn..

at last.. viva was healthy and got out of the workshop at noon, 29th of august. least have i expected, it was my mom's Honda's turn to "check in". i met with an accident on my way home to melaka that evening in the highway. i wasn't hurt though, still in one piece as i am writing this. actually.. to me, i take it as no one's fault. it was destined. why.. hm.. gosh i'm gonna have to tell the story again. i've been repeating the same story around as ppl keep asking what happened when they knew about the accident. if only i had a ringgit everytime i tell it. i guess this would be the last time. the next time ppl ask.. i'll say "go read my blog" or pay. ahaha. good idea.
